ME2- NON-TLK

Hey guys. i have a problem. I finished ME2 without any DLCs and so I decided to buy all DLC.But the problem is that when I start a new game, so after the Normandy destruction and Sheprad's death it shows me the Genesis comic, and than it shows me just an empty whell without any dialogue choice. And Shepard says NON-TL, do you have any ideas what to do? I already reinstalled the game and all DLCs.

  • Just to clarify, we solved the issue in private messages. My suggestion was that it's a localization issue, in which case you have to force the game to use English VO and text.

    Here's a guide on how to do that: http://filenetworks.blogspot.be/2010/01/how-to-change-language-in-mass-effect-2.html

    Copied from that page:

    1. Browse to your Mass Effect 2 installation directory and look in the ‘data’ folder.
    2. Open sku.ini file with a text editor such as Notepad. Make a backup of this file before you alter it – this way you can revert to original if anything goes wrong.
    3. Edit the [SKU] section of the  file so that it looks like the text below:
      [SKU]
      SKU=
      VOLanguage=INT
      TextLanguage=INT
    4. Save and close the configuration editor.

    Note: INT stands for 'international', which is English.

  • Do you have the game on Origin, Steam, or is it the disc copy?

    Instead of reinstalling, you should try repairing. In Origin, you right click the game and select 'repair game'. In Steam, uou go to properties and select 'verify integrity of the game cache'.

    Thanks for the responce. I have ME2 on Origin. I have done what you said (repaired the game+ all DLCs), but still no change.  There's still just an empty wheel and Shepard says: NON-TLK:

    Do you by any chance live in Central or Eastern Europe?

    Okay, so by this message, I'd like to thank to  Fred vdp for his help. The problem was in the localizations of DLCs. I had just to change the language.
