ME2 Import button isnt work

Import character

Hi, i have untypical problem with importing char.

In ME2 afret 'New Game' -->'Import character from ME1' button 'import' is dead. I can se my profile from ME1 Vayne Sheppard lvl.37 etc. but i can't start new game with this save.

I Tryed masseffect2Config next 'save games' 'copy ME1 Save Game' C/Documents/BioWare/ME1/Save

and tryed create 'ME1' Folder in C/Documents/BioWare/ME2/Save/ME1

Still that button in game is dead.

Pls help.

Imho the only explanation for this behavior is a permissions problem.

You can approach this in two ways.

First, right click the "ME1" folder > properties > Security > click on "Users" > make a screenshot and post it.

Do the same with all the entries in the "Group or user names" window.

Then click on "Advanced" and look who is the owner of that folder.

I will have a look at your permissions and we can change them.

The second way is to move your "Documents" folder to your D: drive.

Follow this guide to the letter. (you can use "Documents" as folder name for the new folder if you like to, the name doesn't matter.)

Important! You need to confirm the "Move Folder" dialog with yes!

I fixed sound problem. So my last thing is importing ME1 character to ME2

Here is my game screen after pressing the button nothing happend :<

You have 1.8GB free space left on your system drive. That is next to nothing and the explanation for the many Windows update errors in your DxDiag.

It might also be the reason for the Mass Effect 2 Problems.

On which drive do you have the game installed?

Regardless of that, I would recommend to uninstall ME2 completely, then make at least 10GB room on your C: drive. http://www.howtogeek.com/173713/6-ways-to-free-up-hard-drive-space-used-by-windows-system-files/

After that install ME2 again, ruining Origin as Administrator.

I unistaled ME2, Next get some free space on C:/ (now its almost 50Gb), instal again ME2 on D:/, run as administrator Masseffect2config.exe and try standart import, next run origin as administrator and play mass effect 2. Everything was fine but still i cant import character....

Edit: Is Anyone who can help me or give advice??? I am sad right now ☹️

Did you run the "MassEffect2.exe" also as Administrator? <- important!

In your "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save\ME1" folder is there a file named like this: Char_xx-xx-x-x-x-xx-x-xxxx-xx-xx (x = numbers)?
