Hi @EA_Leeuw @EA_Shepard Bumping this to not be forgotten. EA accounts 2018+ still have issues.
Another issue brought in here by me regarding joining continues to spread onto other accoutns who had no issues at all. They are unable to accept invitations because EA app says they do not have game installed or did not "get" it. Details about it and screenshots provided here. We only know that at this time it affects ME3 MP, and that accounts that worked fine last week suddenly started receving messages from the ME3 Screenshot. We do not know how many accounts are affected and will MEA also be affected, nor what is triggering this, but we suspect it is steam related (but that does not mean it is steam only).
Please, all this work to finally fix the joining problem may be for nothing if the invitations themselves cannot land and EA app refuses to recognize games on our account and on our PC even if its in the library and able to run it because it is installed. We need your help to investigate this, the number of accounts starting to get this error is increasing ...
We are also unable to see our friends from invitation menu, because EA app cannot display more than 100 friends, the same problem Origin app had years ago and then they increased cap to 1000. However, EA app is still very limited and we have to remove each other from friendlist, which is a challenge on its own because there is no search box for existing friends! There is only plus people icon to search for new friends. Then we have to add each other again so that we are "new friends" in order to see each other in the friend list and in the invitation list.
EA app also does not allow us to send and join games in-progress outside of overlay like Origin app could via friendlist itself via the white arrow inside blue ring icon next to friend name, or via a drop down menu. In case of disconnect/crash a player cannot return to our game because self joining no longer exists, only invitations via the lobby in game overlay are a thing now, and that means they have to wait for a game in-progress to finish so we are back to the lobby to send them invitation.
Mass Effect brought us many friendships, please help us keep our friendships, we need EA app to have all basic features Origin app had, so we can play Mass Effect together at least the way it used to be before, because Origin app makes me blind and I like EA app colors, it does not hurt me eyes.
