Me3 bug or unplanned error?
Normally I wouldnt post this for such an old game but this might affect the legendary edition remaster so I'm hoping this gets picked up and fixed :D So i started a new ME3 run and slowly ran my way...

How do you even get access to the Acolyte for this mission? Hmmm, is it automatically available at the first weapons load weapon station with the DLC? Every game I've just had the Predator. And I had assumed it defaulted to that no matter what you carried, LOL!
Anyway, pro-tip: carry a different heavy pistol 🙂

Yeah i had to change back to the basic pistol. I think because I own dlc i got the gun early? Or maybe i just unlocked it in my previosu playthrough.
I was able to equip it because during the mission you find weapons on the ground and you get the option to change your loadout. In that loadout screen i switched the default pistol for the acolyte and didnt think anything of it until i got to the end and just couldn't take dr eva down
