MEA Can't save

Did you checked that the "Controlled folder Access" of the Windows defender is disabled or that the Andromeda Save folders are set as an exception?

interesting idea, but I don't have another partition, everything is on C. 

current idea is in the .exe permissions, there is one for application group, i have enabled it with write permissions, will have to test it and find out

hey are the save games and screenshots at the same location? 
I see the game created this path:

C:\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Screenshots

but no Save folder. Should the save folder be under C:\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda instead?

@eheysYes at least for origin version, for steam client however it might be in another place.

From what I see the the documents location is not recognized by the game. Just move documents folder to c:\docs using folder properties (it might fix the problem)

The correct save folder path is: "C:\Users\>your user name<\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save"

The correct screenshot path is: "C:\Users\>your user name<\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\screenshots"

The path is the same for Origin and Steam 

You can't set a folder in Windows to be read only, the check box only applies to the files in a folder, so the game can still write into the folder even if the check box is set. 

Did you checked the controlled folder access after the link I provided? 

Did you tried to run Origin and Steam as Administrator as well? 

What virus scanner do you use?

I have tested it again with the following setup:

AntiVirus: Kaspersky Total Security (uninstalled)

Controlled folder access disabled

both Origin and Steam run as Admin.

And Save still doesn't work, the load and save screen are still empty when I try to save on the nexus. 

and honestly if getting the game running requires me to uninstall my AV then that is a non-starter solution. I only did it as a test.
