Missing Bring down the sky and Pinnacle station missing afer reinstallation

Hello, I've just upgraded to a new PC so I resintalled it from scratch. I reinstalled Mass Effect 1 from Origin launcher (I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy on Origin few years ago) but I cannot load ...

I think the language might be the cause. Max_exter suggested this in a post in 2013 (edited in 2014): https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mass-Effect-1/Selected-Save-Game-could-not-be-loaded-Downloadable-Content/m-p/1504995/highlight/true#M3261

Hopefully there are helpful suggestions in that thread, but it seems others also have trouble with DLC when playing in their own language. 

DLC was always a bit of a mess in ME1. It's also not something that's entirely fixed in the Legendary Edition, because that's missing Pinnacle Station.

Thanks, you lead me on the right way

To summarize there are 2 solutions for my case :

  1. Edit %userprofile%\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config\BIOEngine.ini and change Language=INT to Language=US (this will change the language in the game)
  2. Edit %userprofile%\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config\BIOGame.ini and change m_bIgnoreDLCRequirements=FALSE; to m_bIgnoreDLCRequirements=TRUE;

I tried only the first one (because I'm not sure if it's a good idea to bypass DLC save game checking) and I was able to load my old save files.

What's weird is I had no problem with French version before the resinstall and copying my old install to the new PC didn't work either.
