Missing ME 2 DLC Genesis

Hi, after a post on polish forum about missing ME2 DLC I've checked and can confirm that EA App Store or my ME2 owned DLC list doesn't show the interactive comics Genesis (I don't want to reinstall my game to check if it downloads - in my two years old install of the game it works), but can you see the Genesis DLC in your regions (other than polish)? Has anyone installed recently ME 2 with Genesis? Or did EA accidentally removed it with other extras (comics, soundtrack etc.) half year ago?

I have a PC version of ME2 and bought all DLC as a bundle.

    Hi, Commander @EA_Shepard 

    unfortunately this is not the case in polish region - I didn't want to mess my working installation, so I asked a friend with the same setup (Win10 PC) who have the same version of ME2 (the standalone one from 2010) and all of the DLC and we can confirm that Genesis doesn't download. Fresh install in English (Polish language tends to cause problems with not transladed DLC such as Genesis, Arrival, Liar of the Shadow Broker). The main screen shows Genesis as installed, but in the prologue on Normandy Ash/Kaidan approach the player and after the prologue there is no comic only the Lazarus movie.

    That is why it would be nice if someone could inform if it is (or isn't) a case also in his region. Maybe it's only Central Europe or Poland?

    A possible workaround may be following these steps:
    - install the game ME2 and all DLC (in English)
    - install Genesis DLC from official EA site (https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/), this causes a bug so
    - repair the game via EA App
    Minus of this solution is that you need to log in to Cerberus network every time.

    Also @majkel28  did you tried repairing the game after install?

    @Resztaczasu Hey Commander! 

    So the Genesis interactive comic is now built into the main game so there isn't a download per se. When you start the game as a new Commander, it should give you the option of using it or importing your save from ME1.

    If that is not happening for you, you have an older version of the game in which case, you can repair the game, or reinstall the game. That should update the version to the latest download of ME2.

    I did a completely fresh install of the game with all DLC, chose a new character, and went through the prologue. After that, the comic should start for you.

    Same problem here, Genesis missing both in the EA App and in the game itself. I started a new game, Genesis dlc was not there.

    Yes, I can confirm that this workaround actually works! Thank you @Resztaczasu for the suggestion. It seems that Genesis dlc istn't being put into the main game after all.
