@holger1405 I think I've got mine working properly again. The driver rollback didn't help but I found a post you made regarding a similar issue: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Mass-Effect-3/Shading-Issues-Blocky-Dark-Textures-that-Follow-You/td-p/5910894 You suggested closing Origin. Under Documents>Bioware>Mass Effect 3>BIOGame>Config. Rename "GamerSettings.ini" to "old_GamerSettings.ini" Restart Origin, run Mass Effect 3, check if fixed. This worked for me for the character import, opening scenes, and first few minutes of gameplay so far.

After reinstalling the game vanilla via Origin 5 times, I expected this to not be an issue

I have no mods installed and have reinstalled this game 5 times. Played through Mass Effect 1 and 2 recently without any problems (and was able to successfully mod the previous titles without issues either).

You suggested closing Origin.

Good to hear, should have suggested that in the first place instead of asking you if you changed an ini file, this files can go corrupted without changing it.

And yes you can, the trial looks very good so fare.

If i ever meet either of you IRL I owe both of you a beer. I've been banging my head against a wall all day trying to solve this problem and renaming the gaming settings file worked like a charm. Thank you so much.

Man this helped out so much I had mods installed and had to delete it the first time I was experiencing this problem but it still came back, but then I added my mods again and tried this and it works at least so far. Thanks a lot for this.
