Modifying corpse cleanup via biogame.ini - does it still work?

Hi,

I'm playing ME1 via Steam. In the original version I used to modify the biogame.ini to increase the time enemy corpses stayed on screen by modifying the 6 entries mentioning "corpse". In the Legendary Edition I've done the same but it this doesn't seem to have any effect.

Does the trick simply no longer function or should it work but I'm doing something wrong?
