"Monitor going to sleep" every time I launch ME2 from Origin: HELP

I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy for PC two years ago, so naturally it requires Origin. I just finished Mass Effect 1 a few days ago, but every time I try to run Mass Effect 2 the monitor instantly goes to sleep. Screen turns black, "monitor going to sleep" caption appears periodically, and the light on my monitor that is typically blue when it's on turns orange, the same color it turns when on "sleep" or "off." However, the power still runs while the screen is stubbornly off, forcing me to manually turn off my desktop (usually by pressing the off button) to be able to use the computer again.

I don't know what's causing this. I scoured this entire website but found almost nothing similar. Some people reported the monitor turning black after 20-60 minutes of gameplay, but for me the blackout happens the very second the game starts running, and won't stop no matter how long I wait.

My PC's specs are:

Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Company

Model: h8-1214

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor

3.30 GHz

Installed Memory (RAM): 10.0 GB (9.78 GB usable).

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Pen and Touch: Pen Support

Also runs on Windows 10.

Please help?

Try to repair the game. (in Origin > Game Library > right click ME2 > Repair)

If that don't helps create a DxDiag in text file format, also go to your Reliability monitor (Press the windows key and "R" at the same time and copy or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in > ENTER and look if it has ME2 entries.

If yes double click at the last one, copy it to the clipboard, (Bottom left corner) save it to a text file and load it up together with the DxDiag. You can do that with the "choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
