mp:why are most of the guns and powers so weak!?

theres like very few guns that are decent enough

Its super painful being big fan of me3 multiplayer and coming to andromeda seeing everything is nerfed to the ground

200%-cooldowns gone
massive power damage with right builds gone
awesome weapon based builds gone
superb weapon balance gone

I hate to say it but this game is like a half as*ed version of me3:mp atm

I hope Bioware can improve this experience

my suggestion:buff everything...funny as it sounds Im serious
for compensation put more enemies in the map
and maybe extend waves to 8-10 rounds (this also means you have to buff credit rewards)

Powers are weak but still useful in staggering an enemy and teamplay. I like the gold difficulty as it is now and I frequently use powers. I'm okay if it takes one throw and one or two shots of a pistol to kill primed* armored enemies (except for mini bosses).

The problem is they only stagger Red Bar Heath Enemies.  Observers, Anointed, Destined, Anarchists, Saboteurs, Berserkers almost never flinch unless its a very strong heavy damage power hit Or its one of these that doesn't have their shields up.  IMHO some power hits should still cause knockback to shields.

Most do. Overload for instance stuns anything smaller than a Berserker. Anything that sets enemies on fire causes them to panic, and Biotic stagger is based on how much "force" your powers have.

I'm going to call total bull on there only being 3 viable weapons to use. There are a few that are under powered and a few that are OP but the vast majority are totally usable. My favorite build is running around with the soned as the turian soldier and I wreck just about everything.

Viable and overpowered are not the same thing.
  • I tried multiplayer early on before the nerfs and honestly I was disappointed at how quickly you could get killed in one hit without knowing what hit you.  It's like CoD all over again getting sniped by campers 5 seconds after spawning over and over.

The nerf to me was a necessary evil:

-it balanced out powers vs bullets

-You now have to aim and shoot more than once to kill someone, which means you have to have some actual SKILL.

-The battles go longer, more bullets fired, more action.

Realistically the less powerful the attacks are, the more game you get to play.  If you enjoy camping then too bad, learn to play!  No longer will a team win with one awesome sniper and a bunch of newbs; now teams are better balanced requiring skilled players.

If there's a real negative to this change I'd be interested in hearing and discussing it, but logically this change simply extended the length of each battle.
