  • Usually a missing msvcr100.dll does mean something is wrong with your redistributables. I would delete all of the current redistributables you have and load them fresh again.

Go to Apps & Features (Or Add or remove programs) , look up all the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables and uninstall them.

Then load the packages again from here :

    32 bit : https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=5555

    64 bit : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

If you are having a 64-bit system, download both and restart computer between each installation.

It might not be a bad idea to install the 2015 Visual Studio redistributable as well : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

    - Don't know if you have 32-bit or 64-bit system ?

On Windows 10, open up the Start bar from bottom left, type in "System" and "System information" should appear. Click it. On older Windows's , choose "Run" and type in "msinfo32"  and press "OK". On the window that opens up look up "System type" . If it says x64 based, you're on 64-bits. If it says x86, you're on 32-bit system.

If all else fails, you may have to try and fetch the file necessary from dll-files.com and insert it in manually. This video shows a good rundown how to do that : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTXVDxpexls

    Good luck.
