Multiplayer - characters ranks are not visible

Me and two of my friends have the same issue. We all did not see our characters rank, but we see ranks of other players characters. For example, in collections, i have Salarian Infiltrator - X. But when i want to choose character, there is only name vithour "X" rank. Also when we are playing together, me and these two friends have only characters name without their ranks. One of them have character rank XVI and he still have veteran bonus locked. Are we doing somenthing wrong? We are playing on PC, purchased game via Steam.
