Multiplayer issues with new patch

About 10 hours ago I was playing multiplayer just fine. I got home from work and Origin downloaded a patch for the game. After the download I've been having several multiplayer issues:

First time I loaded in, the game locked up.

Second match went fine.

Third match I lagged so badly I couldn't do anything.

Tried to enter a 4th match and the game crashed.

Fifth match was going well until the game crashed on wave 10.

Sixth match was lagged out again.

Other than the patch downloading, I didn't change any settings, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
