netprofm.dll
I had come to Origin to buy Mass Effect 3, did so, installed it, and played it. I think I even played it a second time in the meantime.
However, the standard procedure attempting to play the game is, open Origin, facing that annoying "netprofm.dll has a problem" message, then the game shuts down.
Okay, I had tried to un- and re-install Origin, a couple of times. I even went into checking my netprofm.dll, in the end I actually had copied it once more from my Win7 install-DVD. Besides, neither I had ever faced an error message regarding netprofm.dll before having installed Origin on my system, nor had I ever have issues with networking in any regard.
In all honesty, I just want to play that game I had paid my money for. And I dont want to have that odd Origin "thing" to tell me my system would have essential issues where there are none.
So I see 3 options:
First and foremost, what can I do to get this game to run on my machine? (Win7, nv 660ti, and all that.. and yep, I even dared to shutdown my Antivir for a moment ffs..)
Second, is there any option to get that game running without that Origin thing being necessary? I mean, seriously, I wouldnt care about those online stuffs, as long as I could just play the game?
Third, of course, is there an option to get my money back? (Sorry, but growing tired of that popping up error message that brings my entire system to a halt already on startup when Origin comes to its glorious rise.. and in the end there is no good in it)
EDIT1:
Of course I had tried that "Offline Mode" in Origin, which wouldnt make that thing stop spamming me with error messages though.
EDIT2:
And yep, the "beta-version" of that Origin thing I tried as well, as enabled by the settings in there.
