In any case, this situation has been an issue since the launch of the "From Ashes" DLC, as I recall. I first got the bug back in late 2014, and THEN AGAIN, back in early 2015. The first time it was a stuttering issue, in the game, that was caused by the DLC, which was RARE, for that to happen; and then, in the latter, it affected the actual account, becoming the issue.
As it stands, NOW, I'm waiting for a reply, to my response to an email I received from someone outside of any contact I previously had. I'm HOPING it's not ANOTHER "automated response, TO AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE!" 🤞..lol The Reason for my skepticism, is that if you notice closely at the "My Case" section of the page, or even when you first get directed to the page, through an email received, you'll notice that on the last directed page, you come upon, will have the missing optional section for "STILL NEED HELP: EMAIL US", next to "Chat With Us". Primarily, you'll start up in a series of steps that gets redirected BACK onto itself, REGARDLESS of the section you navigate through to end up on ONLY having ONE CHOICE to resolve the issue(WHICH, by the way, is stated at the bottom section on the "How To Use EA Help", @help.ea.com). I include the screenshots of the steps path you'll find yourself going through.
