New Shepard Story
Hello, dear Mass Effect players and Devs! Firstly I’d like to thank everyone who worked/is working on wonderful ME Universe, both Devs and players, and made it what it is. An incredible adventure ...

I believe that most of us would want new Mass Effect, this time set in Milky Way Galaxy right after the ending of ME3.
Actually, imho that would be pretty boring and also not very inspiring.

So, speaking of ending, there were multiple choices at the end and Bioware should choose one and stick with it as canon. And it should be “Red” ending or Shepard destroying the Reapers and surviving in the end (Just my opinion).
Bioware did stated clearly that they will not announce a canon ending for ME3, and I think that is a good thing, everything else would diminish the choices of many gamer, and for the rest you wrote, well, we basically had all that already in the trilogy.
Don't get me wrong, I admire your passion for Mass Effect, and I get why you want a sequel of the original trilogy, but Bioware also stated clearly that Shepard story is over and imho that is a good thing.
No sequel to the trilogy could have the same fascination as the original, and since the reapers have been defeated, there is no enemy imaginable that would even be remotely so frightening and therefore could drive a interesting story.
As said, it is impossible to continue the trilogy without a official canon ending, which by itself would harm the original games tremendous.
The mere repetition of the trilogy in slightly different environments, with the same characters and story elements, would please some hardcore fans, but it wouldn't be enough for a successful game and could even diminish the legacy of the trilogy.
Hi, first thing, thank you for reading whole thing i wrote. Indeed, i am big fan of Mass Effect and i believe it has big potential to continue and succeed again. I was reading somewhere that Bioware said that "things are warming back up" (maybe new game is in pre-production) when it comes to ME. Now, i don't know if that was some PR stuff or not, but they should most definitely consider new ME game that, at least, ties with original ME series. I'm not sure about what would story be exactly, but i do know they could come up with something.
Again, in my opinion, they should come with canon ending because then new games would make sense. Like you said, all three games were about Reaper threat and since first game we wanted everyone to know about Reapers and find a way to destroy them. So, following that logic, it would make sense that canon ending would be to choose to destroy them. Because, why would you want to control them or even combine synthetics and humans? Deciding to control them or synthesis everyone would be against what everyone wanted. No one on his squad or whole Galaxy would want that. Whole point was to destroy them and end that threat.
What am i trying to say is that, if BioWare wants to continue ME, they should choose canon ending and go on from there. What would new games be about? I really don't know, like you said, we've been all over the galaxy did all sort of stuff, but it doesn't mean that there's nothing left to do. Surly they can come up with something that players would love and find interesting. Reapers were main story and threat of original series, but something new can take place for new games.
If not Milky Way galaxy then maybe combine Milky Way with Large and small Magellanic cloud. They could contain some new big threat after the Reapers are destroyed. Just my opinion.
It would be hard for Bioware to make new trilogy that would stand up to the original, but not impossible. They need to focus on new and inspiring story, which is hard, you pointed that out nicely, but they could come up with something.
Again, no offense, i really appreciate your comment and fact that you've read my post, and you are correct on some stuff regarding new games, but i'm sure that they could make something as equal as first three games. Hard...but possible.
Mass Effect and Dragon Age are really awesome games/universes and it would be shame to just leave them were they are at the moment.
Andromeda, imho, was interesting idea, but not for a game. Rather some book, movie or something.
Shepard's story could go on if they can come up with equally good story as with Reapers. Thank you again, for reading and sorry for long text.
