No Mouse cursor in ME2 and 3

I have a perplexing issue.

I have no mouse cursor. Have attempted Repair through Origin.

Disabled Origin in-game.

Have attempted .ini edit with the same issue.

EA chat support (YAWN) recommended I post this here.

Win 7Pro

I7 950

12GB Memory

GeForce 1070 8GB

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Any chance you have a controller hooked up and it is defaulting to it instead of M&K??  You may also want to check your hardware to see if it lists a virtual controller that maybe the game is reading....

Other than that, do you run any kind of Razor software or use an exotic multi-button mouse or touchpad on your machine??  Maybe one of those is interfering....

  • Check Your video Driver make sure it 64 bit not 32 , If 32 uninstalled video driver installed the 64bit driver. Also make sure all the driver are up to date. If need help on how to update or check message me.

    @Magusredbear

32bit kernel mode driver will not work on a 64bit OS. So it is simply impossible that @Player_jcfh2abi has 32bit driver installed.

Also, the purpose of this forums is to help other users with their problems, therefore all troubleshooting steps should be discussed inside the forum and not via private massage.

    I appreciate eveyone's help.

I have tried all of your suggestions with no change.

Still have no mouse cursor. Have also attempted to reinstall Origin and downloaded a fresh copy of the game.

I don't have any game pads/fancy gaming peripherals. Just a normal USB keyboard and mouse.

Something new has happened,  the game does show mouse in windowed mode. Loses it in Fullscreen...Weird.

About ready to blame this on a corrupted OS...

Any further help is most appreciated!

Lol, I could see Windows doing this, after what Windows did to my son's Wifi .....

Workaround, would be to play in borderless windowed fullscreen mode...
