I don't remember that many consoles on Virmire. Is there any chance you're misremembering?
Perhaps you could give me an example terminal. I can load a save prior to that point (I saved A LOT) and see if it works for me.
This is my first time playing Mass effect, but I have been speaking to a guy in work who has played it many times.
He mentioned a few consoles:
In the room from where you go to the release the prisoners in the cells
In the chamber that leads to the catwalk which leads to the above room
In the Krogan facility where the Genophage cure is being worked on, the console is right down the far end.
Just to make sure, I looked for videos of these parts of the game, and in them the character is interacting with these consoles.I can interact with storage lockers etc, fine, its just the consoles that seem to be a problem.

I don't have much to suggest, then.. what OS are you running? Are you fully patched?
If you coudl upload your latest save, we could check if this is a corruption in the save file or not.

I am running Windows 7 Pro fully patched. I don't think that its an OS issue, as a much earlier save works fine.
As suggested, it could be a corrupted save, maybe caused by installing the DLC ?
I'll upload the save when I get home from work, if I can find out how to do it 🙂

I would appreciate it if it can be confirmed if the save is corrupted.
As a matter of interest, how do you establish that, as I can then go back to the last save that I have that is not corrupted.
