mass effect 2 (original) dlc not appearing on ea launcher. i purchased mass effect 2 recently, and when i browsed add-ons at the time, there were 3 pages of them. the game came with cerberus network and the associated add-ons, but now when i check the mass effect 2 page, there is no add-ons tab. (typically the page would have an overview/add-ons toggle in the corner) the website the game redirects you to for dlc (go.bioware.com) no longer appears operational. please help. @Saphadaeus Go here. On the right side of the screen look for "Releases 4" > click on "+ 3 releases" Download the Zip > unpack > Put the "binkw23.dll and binkw32.dll" into the folder listed below. Mass Effect 1: copy binkw23.dll and binkw32.dll to 'Mass Effect\Binaries'.Mass Effect 2: copy binkw23.dll and binkw32.dll to 'Mass Effect 2\Binaries'.Mass Effect 3: copy binkw23.dll and binkw32.dll to 'Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32'.

EA app. I have tried searching for the addons through the app's browser, but Mass Effect 2 dlc does not show up, even the ones that came with the game (Cerberus network, Zaeed, etc). It's as if they have been removed from EA's store

That only shows addons that have already been downloaded/installed

That's interesting, testing now I see all the appropriate addons, and I don't see why yours should be significantly different.

Can ou try running the App Recovery to clear cache and see if that has any effect?

A potential workaround is to grab the DLCs here, though it really shouldn't be necessary.

App recovery did not work. Mass Effect 2 dlc does not appear on the app's store and is not reachable via the game's main page. I have tried downloading the dlc from that link, but it cannot run because the cerberus network does not recognize it as mine, so it cannot be loaded. The link itself says games downloaded via the ea app may experience conflicts with the dlc downloaded from the link, but I do not want to reinstall the game to rectify it and risk losing my save data.

I am at the end of my rope. I don't know what to do. I've enjoyed the Mass Effect games immensely, but this EA app has made my experience with them needlessly complicated and painful. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and the dlc still does not appear available for download in the browse tab or the main page for Mass Effect. If EA decided to remove the dlc from the original game to drum up sales for Legendary Edition, please just tell me now. No other program has inspired as much visceral rage as the EA app. I have only begun playing through Mass Effect 2, and I want to play the shadow broker, arrival, overlord and Kasumi add-ons. This app has turned a fun experience into an infuriating ordeal. I just want to know if I'm wasting my time looking for dlc that was all listed in the app last month, all available for download, and all free. What is going on? Is this a bug or has EA decided to quietly take down all the dlc for the original mass effect games? (ME3 dlc doesn't appear either.) And before anyone suggests buying Legendary Edition, I tried. I had to get a refund because the game couldn't load any of the included Mass Effect Titles, instead lingering on the splashscreen for hours.

Nope, they are still there.

A reinstall of the game will not purge the Savegames, but if you want to be on the save side, they are at "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save\"
Back up the "Save" folder and that risk is gone. (Its a good idea to do that anyway.)

Which DLC did you install from the side and what was the specific error message you encountered?

Hi, @Saphadaeus I guess no one of us (myself included) ever bothers to read the summary on game page in EA App - it clearly states that ME2 (Edition 2010) and ME3 (Edition 2012) now contains all of the DLC. This can be the reason for missing shop pages etc. So I hope that reinstall will help you - a fresh install should come with all DLC (can you confirm that they are not in game - like no Genesis at the beginning, no Kasumi available to recruit after first mission, no additional weapons, armour - other DLC are available in second act, so it takes time to confirm if there are there).
If there are not there well... Last month it turned out that fresh install of a ME2 game in polish region doesn't come with Genesis (you can search this forum for my topic 'Missing ME2 DLC Genesis') - the solution (more like workaround) was indeed to:
1. Install ME2 from EA App
2. Install missing DLC from page that is mentioned in previous posts)
3. This breaks the game so repair ME2 with EA App
4. Open ME2 and log into Cerberus network every time.
