I have plugged in a wired Xbox One controller, but the game is not registering it. It seems the game doesn't recognize a controller is attached. The controller works for other games, so I'm sure it's not a problem with the hardware. How can I troubleshoot this? Thank you for your time.
I know this thread is ancient, but couldn't find an answer. The trilogy on PC all have decent xbox/ controller support.
I bought Andromeda years ago, but never played it. Is there/will there ever be controller support for PC?
Asking because I don't want to install it yet again only find no controller support. After the Trilogy, and also playing ME1 & 2 on console ages ago, always with controller support, it seems weird there is no controller support on only Andromeda for PC. Of course it has controller support on xbox, but just Andromeda has no controller support on PC (ME1,2,3, do).
I'm sure this question has been asked numerous times, but any news on that anyone? Never could figure out why only this ME game and only on PC is missing this.
Never had this issue before. If you bought it on steam, there is controller support. Try toggling this off and on and see if there are any changes.
I've had that happen with a few titles, where the games works just fine without any steam controller support.
Ok thanks man. I actually bought it on disk (PC only) years ago.
I guess I'll re-install and hopefully controller works. TBH, I have installed several times, but not for 2 years at least. I was just being lazy posting here rather that re-install yet again.
