Omega DLC won't trigger

I purchased and downloaded the Omega DLC.  I have completed what the ME3 Omega FAQ lists as prerequisite:

The Omega missions are available anytime after Shepard has completed the main game mission Priority: Palaven and has already spoken to Aria in Purgatory on the Citadel. Once Shepard returns to the Normandy and checks his/her email, there will be a message from Aria explaining what to do next. All Omega missions take place before the attack on Cronos Station.

I am now halfway through the game and the email from Aria hasn't arrived.  I have visited her several times in Purgatory but this hasn't done anything.

I see several others have had this same problem but their inquiries are ignored.  I paid $15 for this DLC and I would like it to work.
