(Origin) I can't launch Mass Effect 2, nor download game add-ons

As the title says, I can't launch Mass Effect 2, nor download game add-ons, here are some screenshots :

I already followed these instructions : http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9714446.page 
But that haven't done anything. I also saw another post saying it was a browser problem, so I set by default Chrome and Firefox, still nothing new. 

I am clueless now and i hope you can help me.

    I called them, it was like 40min with stupid music from The Sims.

    And finally i had someone who answered me, all you have to do is ... call them too ...

    they will connect to your account, give you a new code to your game.

    I'm actually redosnloading it, but i can download add-ons now so, i guess it works now.

    Good luck with the 45min call, hope it will be shorter with you.

  • Hey i've got the same problem with the greyed out button. But unfortunately i've got no files in the download folder to copy from. Is it possible that anyone of you can upload only the launcher.exe and the launcher folder for me?

    I would appreciate this a lot.

  • Got also a new cd key from the support. I am downloading it right now. DLC Download is working now. Hope the game also works.

  • I surrender now. With the new cd key i can download the dlcs and the game isn't greyed out anymore in origin but i still get an activation window following with the missing cipher error.

    I've downloaded a crack for the game. Now it is playable. Very sad that you need to crack your original game just to play it.

  • Hi, I am new to origin and have the same problem as xfrontil: the play button is grayed out, dlc won't download and I can't access the launcher because my downloadcache is empty.

    How would I go about getting a new cd key from support? I've tried to find the solution by myself but I've had no luck.

    Worth mentioning that they also deleted the uninstall, thus the game doesn't show up in "install uninstall" listing on your Windows. If you want to remove the game, all you can do is delete the game folder.

    Btw, in my case, checking the Keep game installers did nothing, the DownloadCache is completely empty; also, don't bother with EA support if your outside US or Canada, i tried and, big surprise, i clicked the Missing content, then the Never received content and finally i clicked Select contact option. Unfortunately, Request live chat is grayed out (in tone with the play button in the Origin app) and Get a call is only available for US and Canada. Guess it says something about what EA thinks of its customers in the rest of the world.

    The game does show up in the "Programs and Futures" section of the Windows control panel, as it is suppose to do.

    If it  doesn't show up on your machine, there is a problem on your machine. (I would guess a Registry problem) 

    In wide parts of Europe, and also in other parts of the World you can call EA directly and also get a Chat or call back option. (If you try to contact inside the service hours).
