Same story here - contacting EA Support didn't help - I just got the "standard answer" - try to reinstall Origin by following ..... steps. It seems, they don't understand the fact, implemented bugs can not be solved by reinstalling the program, but OK, if they think so...
Back to my [our] issue:
1. Which version of ME2 do you own? Did you buy it from Origin or on disc?
Tried to solve the problem by using a DVD version of "Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition", + "Digital Deluxe Edition" installed via "Origin" - nothing helped.
2. Which version of the Origin client do you have installed?
Version 9.0.15.65 - 198678
[updating to the next beta version didn't help]
3. Which DLC is Origin trying to download?
Aegis Pack
Alternate Appearance Pack 1
Alternate Appearance Pack 2
Arrival
Collector's Weapon and Armor
Equalizer Pack
Firepower Pack
Genesis
Incisor Sniper Rifle
Kasumi - Stolen Memory
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Overlord Pack
4. Which DLC are you missing?
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Weapon and Armor (Cerberus Network)
Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Arc Projector (Cerberus Network)
Firewalker Pack (Cerberus Network)
I hope this issue will be solved as soon as possible, because it's really annoying.
A possible [but very, very "dirty"] way to solve this problem could be a "downgrade option for Origin", I think, I've got this problem after updating my Origin client [I suppose, it has smth to do with ME Trilogy, so developers tried to connect all the parts + DLCs of the game to "Origin", which didn't work - as usual - what we have deal with now, is a product without any market maturity, which is still in development and has a bunch of bugs.
If "Origin"/ EA remains, as it is now [buggy, user-unfriendly, 100% profit orientated] ME 3 has to be the last game, I bought from EA. 😕mileyfrustrated:
