First it was annoying but then i realized if multiple quests would be tracked you would have multiple locations marked so eventually you'd have to press the map to find out where you need to go. Imagine it having marked the "Counting Bodies" on Kadara, then "Hitting rocks for science" and maybe "Family secrets" you'd end up with 9-10 locations and thats just a mess. If each mission would have different markers thats a different case however.
I think having 3 quests marked would be good , wouldnt ruin your hud and it could be implemented in a form of patch or dlc easily.
Now i have a quest in the Nexus when i need to speak with the director bugged 😬on my screen so now i always have 2 quests marked. Would be nice to see something like that.

Well, I thought about that as well and my solution would indeed be to allow up to 3 quests to be tracked but that each quest being tracked has a different colour. Right now it's this sort of orangy colour, so quest two could be blue and three could be green for example. Also more than 3 would be a bit much indeed is it could get too chaotic.

Also the compass thingy on top of the HUD could use some tweaking. When an objective has multiple locations (quite typical actually) it is not immediately apparent on the compass which one is the closest without opening and looking at the actual map.

hitting the q key during play shows the markers on your screen, and their distance is listed too. kind of annoying to have to press it every few seconds, but it's there.
