- Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
- Move the "License" folder to your desktop.
- Test
I tried this method but still the issue comes up. I moved the "License" folder to desktop. Uninstalled the game using some app called "Revo" a user from another post suggested. Rebooted PC and then reinstalled the game and still getting this error.Great! EA support is telling me to search the forums for answers... They also suggested going on to live chat, but I think live chat no longer exists. Why does EA even have a support department if they aren't even providing support? They are leaving it up to community members to do their job and they don't even know that their own platform no longer has a live chat. Yet they suggested all these options to me and have not once gave me a decent support reply... All this on holiday break when I just want to play ME 3 again because I recently got all the DLC for the game... THANKS EA!
Alright, so I guess live chat still exists. You have to go into the EA/help section of the game you want and find where it says chat with support. I am currently in queue to try and talk to someone
