[PC] Mass Effect Andromeda Freeze FIX

I think i finally made it, fixed the freezing bug, THE PROBLEM WAS THE SHADERS, THE GAME DOESNT NEED A NASA PC, ITS JUST BAD OPTIMIZED, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT.

Devs dont let me upload the cfg archive that goes in MAE folder.

Just create a notepad file in installation folder USER.CFG

Also close explorer.exe and launch the game in windows mode.

Off: Thread.ProcessorCount will be tha MAX CORE THREADS of your cpu.

Thread.MinFreeProcessor count always in -2. This will fix the problem with launching.

Basically i used the frosty editor to lower some animation quality, lower the world rendering so it will load a little less, then, the most important change was the shaders, too much rendering.

Now FPS will go more than 60.

@denisakat123 We all use Google Docs but they are not links we can have as they could give or gain access to players personal information. Due to it being a possible security risk in general, they don't allow them in threads.

    Cheers!

  • @EA_Shepard Ok. I posted the content of the data pad in the post. Youre welcome. Dont get me wrong but people suffer this issues and the comunity wants to play without so many issues. The company abandoned Andromeda..

    See ya

@denisakat123 I appreciate taking the time to post that for players! Hope this helps. About to jump in and start a new playthrough myself later on tonight too!

    Cheers!

@EA_Shepard Also you can set your native resolution to 1920x1080 and active SVR if you use AMD, then put the game resolution in 2560x1440. This will force the GPU to use more VRAM and will unlock +60 FPS. You will still have some sluttering but will improve performance. The main issue is the CPU load. It overcharges so even having a 6 core micro this will happen again. There is a lot more of changes you can put into the cfg file. Let me kno

You know i never really messed with any other these. I never played in fullscreen mode, I always just resized it manually and left it at that. That is a good call out though. I started a new playthrough last night anyways so I will have to try to mess around with this one later on tonight!

    Cheers!
