Persistant and ANNOYING video glitch

I would REALLY like to fix this issue somehow.  I have a fairly high-end PC with an Nvidia GTX970 video card. In Mass Effect 1 I do not get the radar screen to work, nor do the powers/weapons display...

    Problem corrected.  I had a shader override mod installed (I'd forgotten it was there) and it was messing up parts of the graphics. Removing the shader override fixed the issue.
