@PsychotpsWe like the challenge, that's why we play on Insanity. But I agree with OP, both the starting thermal clip amount and their drop rate are laughable. Even with offhand ammo pack, I constantly run out of ammo.
This is something they said they'd adjust, and it's still totally crap. I make do with an infiltrator since I have three weapons to switch around, but I can see how playing an adept could be pain.
Also, the infiltrator is supposed to be a sniper class - having a total of 10 shots against 15 enemies who have different kinds of protective layers is a pain, what's the point of being a sniper if I have to go close quarters to loot "ammo"... Early game, headshots are not always instakills even after the shields/armor/barriers are down.- 5 years ago
Sorry, don't agree at all with this. Ammo is tight, but its supposed to be. The only way I could get behind more ammo is if there was a "solo" mode.

It's just funny how ammo is not even a thing in the universe, then suddenly "it is supposed to be tight".
As I said, I make do as it is, and a good squad setup helps balance this out. I'd say it should be slightly adjusted - the current one is not the "challenging", but simply the "annoying" category.

I'm totally confused. You like the challenge but agree with the OP that you want to make the game easier? That's why they have difficulty levels. If the setting is too hard, lower the difficulty.
I think it's more that you want the achievements but its too hard.- SofaJockeyUK5 years agoHero+
I think 'Insanity' difficulty is supposed to be, er, 'insane'.
I find levelling up pedantically and pick/managing you crew wisely make insurmountable areas barely viable (which is kind of the point).
