Power Wheel Visual Bug In Game

Hello folks! I hope you’re all well. I'd appreciate some advice on a puzzling issue I'm facing with Mass Effect Legendary Edition when I click a power from R1 (Power Wheel):

  1. At the click of selecting a power while holding R1, the power wheel of the squad, the game switches from full-screen mode to a form of windowed mode.

  2. Depending on what screen mode I have selected in the game, the switch can look like windowed mode as I mentioned in 1 or it can just flicker everytime I click a power or the slot a future power will be in.

This issue is only happening with Mass Effect and I have no issue with any other game. Please note this seems to be a controller only issue.

Im not sure the issue is clear from the above description so I uploaded an example of this issue here: https://imgur.com/a/UgnLTCu

I would appreciate any support. Thank you in advance.

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

What resolution is your Monitor set to and what resolution is the game set to?
It seems you're already in Windowed mode at the start of the Video?

    Hello.

    Thank you for your response.

    1. Ive attached the DxDiag file as you requested.

    2. Both the screen and the game are set to 2560 x 1440

    3. Regarding the recording, yes I see that it seems like I am already on windowed mode because of when I started recording. I have captured a better recording here: https://imgur.com/a/me2-le-visual-issue-1xo5zY6

A better resolution of the issue is here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/9n9n0ycokd0twwrfeg3yl/ME2-LE-Visual-Issue.mp4?rlkey=9np857026po3ybe8odxqra8bw&st=alh082x7&dl=0

    Thanks again for your response.

    Try to repair the game.

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

    Then:

    • Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
    • Install the graphics driver > Go online.
    • Test.

    Good day.

My apologies for the late reply. I have completely reinstalled the graphics drivers using the method you mentioned below. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. Please let m know if there is anything else I need to try.

    Thanks again.
