Priority: Sur'kesh

During the mission on third checkpoint with Mordin and Eva. I can't progress any further because during the combat one of the cerberus soldiers got stuck alive under me where I can't reach him or target him. To clear the checkpoint, all of the enemies must be eliminated.

  • @Exospector211 Yes happened to me 4 times already on various different missions in ME3, it is probably the buggiest title out of the trilogy.
From my observation this is caused by Liara's psy-hole-thing, doesn't excuse that it's happening but as a prevention measure you could avoid using her. Other then that, do manual saves often so if it happens you don't have to re-do 20-30 min of progress.
  • They said multiple times that ME3 pretty much wasnt touched at all. So there is high chance this issue was also in the original game.

  • In a pinch, if you don't want to reload a save, you could load the command console mod, and try the KillTarget command.  You could also try the KillEnemies command, although I don't know if that one would have inintended consequences later in the mission.

  • Regarding the Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition's Priority: Sur'Kesh mission:

I'm simply playing the narrative level for the storyline, and no matter what I do, even with the quarantine pod at 100% health, after activating it, it goes to the cut scene with Mordin, he talks, then Cerberus' shuttle comes in, Mordin gets shot up, he bends over, and I lose the pod and fail. I cannot move past this mission in any way. I am bummed right now because I would like to move forward, but the only way I can means I scrap my progress and go back to the Normandy to try other missions.

I may have to forget this mission since for me it's broken or bugged, but I would rather not. Like many, I want to make sure I complete the entire game, not just bits of it. I spent hours on Sur'Kesh before, with the same result. After having accomplished a few other missions, I came back and spent another thirty minutes on it only to have the same result. The "Quarantine Pod Destroyed" failure comes up and I essentially die after having cleared the room of all enemies, with a 100% healthy pod. I don't know what gives. I use a PC with a 64-bit operating system (which really has nothing to do with the issue, it's the game that has the bug and I am stuck there unless I rewind and forget the mission altogether). All I can do is ask for suggestions... hopefully, someone else has run into this and fixed it?

    Update:

Well, I'll be... no sooner than writing this post! It fixed itself. Yay!

  • I had the same thing happen to me but: This was the first time I did it in 'Hardcore' game mode. No matter what mode I put it in, it still did it. I also had 'Nexus' mods loaded. I removed the mods and put it in casual game mode and the pod didn't explode!
