Can't believe I nearly missed this thread.  This is brilliant stuff.  I really like the depth this would add to the game.

It would help working around this one too, because both systems would be integrated, although this thread is newer and back then I was not considering these ideas when proposing those crafting/developing system. If you get the time, check that thread. ^_^
