Question about vaults
So with the new patch that came out a few days ago a new task appeared in my task list called "Task: Remnant Data Cores" it stated I had 3/9 found. I started searching for the others, and I looked on...

Once decontaminated, Vaults are perma-locked until your next run. This is the same reason that the Achievement/Trophy for Remnant Console puzzles can end up locked, some consoles are inside vaults, and get closed off permanently.
Sadly there would be no way for you to check. For what it's worth though, I never found them all either -_- 5/9 over here. Always more playthroughs ahead though.
@lagruej That is extremely dumb. So they are punishing me the player when they had a bugged game, expecting me to look for something I had no idea I needed to look for. Sadly I do not have the time to do another play through and if I can not 100% the game in this play through because of bugs I basically will lose all my motivation to play it.
@Tuinbonen I know about that one, I am not that far into the game yet. I am currently missing 4 minus that one. Do you know if you get a data core from beating the Architects?
Well, so far no core found in an Architect. I just looked around in vaults. The Architects just drop a wide remnant container.
@Tuinbonen Do you happen to know where the vaults were located? I think I have 1.) the one that Peebee finds to start the quest, 2.) The one from the extra Vault on Elaaden 3.) From the extra vault on Voeld. I have one more but I have no idea where I found it at.
I'm sorry but I don't remember. I've sunk 70h in the SP and I can't really recall everything x)
But I'm sure you'll find everything, because I don't do those additional tasks actively. Only the primary ops, allies and heleus assignments.
