Tried it and got the same error 😢
You're absolutely sure "Controlled Folder Access" is turned off?
Is this T: drive an internal or external dive?
Yeah I think so! As for my drive, it's just the SSD that came with my computer - I simply partitioned it in two.
Two possible solutions:
1.)
- Right click on the "T:\Documents" folder > Properties > Security
- Click "Edit" to change the permissions.
- Select your user name > Check "Allow full control"
- Click OK and OK again.
2.)
- Right click on the "T:\Documents" folder > Properties > Security > Advanced
- In the "Owner" line > click Change
- Click Advanced > Find Now > Find your username in the search results > Select it > OK
- Click OK again.
- Check the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects box > OK > OK
- Change permissions for your user account as in step 1 if necessary.
This worked, I was able to save a text file in the ME1 folder!
UPDATE: I was able to save the game! I'll play around a little more to make sure it's here to stay but holy *, you might just be my saviour!
You're welcome!
