You have some errors in Windows Update. Try repairs as described here:
You can also test with another keyboard.

Hi Karlsen,
thanks for the fast first support. This solution didnt helped.
The problem still occurs.
It even changed to the point when I press forward now he just runs even longer forward (like 15 seconds) without me being able to do anything else than steering with the mouse.
Any other ideas?
Am I the only one with such a problem?

You have Walk/Run set to toggle in Options. There is a known bug with that. Change it back to normal hold button then it will stop when releasing the button.

I checked the settings and its not on toggle anyways so it cant be that bug. i also switches it to toggle and back to see if that helps but not.
To re-confirm. When i walk forward and stop pressing forward, the char still runs like 5-10 Seconds ans i cant do anythinf ( jumping, changing to sprint, scanning) but can steer with the mouse.
Any more Ideas? Did you try with another Keyboard?
You don't have a game controller attached, do you? If you have, unplug it.
I have the same issue. I do not know how to fix it. I unplugged my controller, but it does not help. He keeps walking for like 10-15 secs (depends on how long I have pressed the button before)
I could play this game with the controller, if I want to. (No bug here) But I don't feel like playing a shooter with the controller. I really want to use the mouse.
i feel like such an * im also having this issue with a completely different game and i completely forgot about the gamepad set right against the table LMAO thanks friend you saved me hours of troubleshooting files.
