Re: Closed Bug Report Cases?

ME1 is 10 years old and this are not game braking bugs, or in other words, it is very unlikely that you will see a patch for this bug.

For the "Rita's Sister" bug, if you return the mods to Chellick without talking to Rita before, you will get your assignment.

I knew that it was an old game. I tried reporting the bugs anyway to see if EA would at least take a look at it. I didn't expect them to close the cases, but the community manager is saying that the look at all the bugs. A bug that does not let you finish content is, by definition, game-breaking. I, of course know, that talking to Chellick before Rita would finish the quest, but I wanted tos we what would happen if you talked to Rita during the quest. It's too late to talk to Chellick now. There's nothing in the game that says if you talk to Rita, you finish the quest, as that would make no sense. It's a bug. The mass Effect wiki even says so.

The definition of a game braking bug is a Bug that don't let you continue the game, and that is not the case here.

I am sure EA is forwarding the report to Bioware, but as said before, the game is 10 years old, and the bug is still in there. So if Bioware does not change their mind and remaster the trilogy, it will not get fixed.

"Continue the game" can also mean specific content and not the game. I know a patch is fairly unlikely, but I just wanted to confident Ea at least saw the report.

Hello @Mistermovieman and thank you again for being such a dedicated fan of Mass Effect franchise. You know, Bioware has its hands full with Mass Effect Andromeda right now, but this does not means older titles and gone and forgotten.  As I told you before, we are carefully listening to our players and gathering reports, sadly I do not have information about about future Mass Effect 1 updates.

    Cheers,

    Archi

Thanks. I have just starting playing the Mass Effect games, and I didn't notice these bugs until now. A shame they weren't fixed before, but these old games are great regardless.

Thank you @Mistermovieman for these kind words! Enjoy the game and let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Cheers,
