Re: Collectors took my crew and THEN Legion's loyalty mission presents...

Just do Legion's loyalty mission after completing the game. You can keep him alive if you don't make him a specialist, don't take him with you to the boss, and if you take two weak characters to the boss instead (like Tali, Jack and Mordin) so that the defensive score of the remaining characters is high enough.

  • Having one disloyal team mate seems to always get someone killed though. Right?

Oh well. I did the mission...Legion died.

I reloaded a save, did the loyalty mission, did the Suicide Mission and then resurrected Gabby and Kelly with the editor.

I did some heavy cheating on the last play through of the mission. It was actually funny. I might upload it. LOLZ

Hmm, It's been a few years but I could swear that I've gotten through the suicide mission without doing all the loyalty missions. I'm not 100% on that though, most of the time I just try to get Miranda killed anyway.

Tali and Legion are really the only two I worry about.

If you have a disloyal team mate, one person usually dies and Tali is always first to go(except for specialists). Even if she's loyal, the game kills her first.

I put a lot of time in those two in ME2 because they are integral to my ME3 play.

I must have waited too long to acquire Legion.

No way I was letting him die as a specialist or Tali die because of him. I spent 34 hours on ME1 and 2 to build this story for ME3. hahaha

    You Monster! 😉 🙂

You are right, you can keep Legion alive without him being Loyal, as @Fred_vdp explained perfectly. You also will not lose other Party members if the rest is Loyal.

I once got everyone out alive with four disloyal characters.

Four is a lot, I only had two in one of my playthroughs, Zaeed and Legion.

  • I tried several combos with Legion as the only disloyal member and either he died or Tali died.

Tali is always the first loyal member to die if you have a disloyal member.

Legion will live if you do not use him as a specialist but I have yet to find a combo that keeps him and Tali both alive.

The ONLY way I know of to keep her alive is if Thane is also disloyal...he is ahead of her on the scripted list of deaths...she is #2.

The other thing that sucks is that I resurrected Kelly and Gabby with a save edit so they are not on the Memorial on the crew deck...but they are not in my game either. So,my method basically deleted them from the game entirely.

I'm wondering if having Morinth instead of Samara is the cause...because Morinth has no loyalty mission.

She is supposedly loyal by default because of circumstances but she has no alternate appearance...which means disloyal on all the other characters.

So maybe the game sees TWO disloyal team members.
