Re: Corrupt download on steam

This is happening to me as well.  Earlier I tried verify game files, it wanted to download files, getting "Corrupt Download" in red letters in Steam.

Then I uninstalled the game, made sure all game files were removed, and attempted a full download.  Same issue.  It got almost all the files downloaded, but it won't finish and getting Corrupt Download message.

Edit:  I have attempted to "Clear Download Cache" in Steam and am now downloading again.  Hopefully will find out in about 45 minutes if that helped.

After clearing the download cache in steam and attempting the download again, it gets ~81GB downloaded and stops.  Had to press download again, and again it stops at the end with "Corrupt Download" and I do not know what else I can do to remediate this issue on my end.  Was there a recent update done to the game?

In this case I would suggest to contact Steam support, they might have info about problems on their end.
