The same thing was happening to me and I just fixed it by turning off "Controlled folder access" under the Windows Security settings. Hope this helps

Thx, I just had an issue where none of my Origin games were working, while all other platforms were working fine, I was going crazy...
Turning off "Controlled folder access" solved launch issues for all my Origin games
