Re: How to apply mods to mass effect games?
Hey there @LuciferBlack851
The games do not have *innate* mod support so the mods provided are always coming from third parties and need to be manually installed. In other words, all the mods have their own instructions and methods how you apply them. Each game also has their own tools to use for modding the games. For example, some Mass Effect 3 mods you simply place to the DLC folder. Some mods you need to extract multiple files in different places and may need to use some additional program to actually apply it to your game. It all depends on the mod in question.
To get you started, go to Nexusmods : http://www.nexusmods.com/
From there, when you scroll down a little you see "Game search" . Click the drop-down menu to the right and look up the Mass Effect game of your choice from there. You should that way be able to get to the main page of the Mass Effect title of your choice on that mod page, such as : http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect/
There, if you aren't searching anything specific, hover the mouse over the blue button "Files" at the top and click "Browse files" and it shows you everything there is available. Pick any mod that finds your fancy and follow the instructions on the description. Most mods should have their own instructions how you should apply them. Click the Files tab from the middle, or the download button from the right to reveal the download links.
Remember that these are all third party downloads, so usage of them is all at your own risk.
Good luck !
