Re: Is there a way to recover my save data for Mass effect legendary?

@Gusbus001

The standard save folder for the MELE is "C:\Users\>Your user name<\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1" (respectively ME2 & ME3).

If you didn't moved the System User Folders from your system drive, this location was purged during the installation of Windows 11.

If you used OneDrive to back up your "Documents" folder it is possible that your saves are still available inside your OneDrive folder.

The game however will only "see" them if you move them from your one drive folder into the folder outlined above.

If you use Origin it is possible but not very likely that there is one save left in the cache.

In Origin go to your game library > right click the MELE cover >  Game Properties > Cloud save > Restore last local saved game.

Unfortunately, if all this doesn't work, there is no way to restore your saves.

    The files were in there! They just weren't downloaded from onedrive, kinda in queue to download. Thats 90 hrs of progress I retained!

  • @holger1405 In the new EA app there is not that option, in game prop there is only install folder, product key and advanced start options

    my saved games also disappeared, but I think that the reason for playing with two computers simply deleted them when I connected from the other computer and now they are not on any computer
