I did not receive any of my achievements for ME2 with this method. So I have to play all the game again in order to do the achievements again. Thanks for the """fix""" Shepard, but EA is selling a product for months without the care to fix the product so it becomes functional. I really wish I could have a fix so I can get my achievements displayed on the profile, without having to replay the game. You know, the way it was supposed to work.

This kept my current progress while re-activating achievements.
You provided a better fix than EA ever could, thank you! Now achievements pop with the actually functioning Origin client.
@MarioaraMuieresc I didn't delete any game profiles, like was suggested by the CMs (which I don't suggest anyone do, since that would remove your prior achievements). I just installed the Origin workaround, do the EA App removal patch, then I suppose Origin synced my prior achievements. I had about a year's gap between my last playthrough, and all my prior achievements showed up.
oh wow, if I haven't deleted them by the suggestion of the CM I would have my achievements with this method. I'm so upset that this was suggested to me now by the CM lol
Any chance you can send me the fix you used dude? I’m pretty deep into the game at over 50 hours on the highest difficulty and would rather not restart, just to confirm your method activated all prior achievements ? And does it work for ME2 and ME3?

Activated all my prior achievements on ME2 and also working perfectly on ME3 right now.
So I now have origin working and steam launching the game through it (although I noticed at the top of my origin it says R&D mode production) however none of my previous achievements have unlocked and others don't seem to be unlocking either. EA really need to sort this out, its absolutely shocking................
@dec_the_black not sure, but i just followed the 2 vids to first install origin and then the ea app patch, and everything is working perfectly for me. try redoing it from a fresh install
It's working for me now!!! I don't use offline mode or Origin and I'm getting achievements!!!!!!

Can we get an independent confirm on this? I see the trello roadmap has been deleted, is there a new changelog / patch notes available?
A further point, do we now need to delete the TrilogyGamerProfile in BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/?
What about the Launcher_Profile in BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/ME1/ and the GamerProfile.pcsav in BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/ME1/PROFILE
For ME2, do we need to delete GamerProfile and Launcher_Profile in BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/ME2/
For ME3, do we need to delete Launcher_Profile and Local_Profile in BioWare/Mass Effect Legendary Edition/ME3/
Hopefully we are at the end of this ordeal, but I want to confirm before I go delete files left right and centre!
(Either way another excuse to see Jack and friends is always welcome 🙂 )
Finally, kudos to @EA_Shepard for the continuous updates, even if they weren't always as positive as we'd hoped!
Community Manager@Silverdragon98_ The achievements should have been resolved. If they are not for players, we need all of those that it didn't fix to let us know and share any screenshots of what should have been resolved.
As there are two separate issues.
1. You earned it and didn't get it
2. You already had it, but it isn't showing up or disappeared
The problem is not fixed. Up until yesterday actually I was unlocking achievements normal. I Don't know what changed yesterday but it broke achievements again. I'm sitting at 94/127 unlocks on the EA app. I should be at 98/127 unlocks. I force popped Lost and Found, Fact Finder, problem solver & Party Crasher. The last achievement I had that unlocked normal was Always Prepared. I don't know what changed yesterday but it broke the achievements again. I checked my in game achievement tabs and ME2 which I got all the achievements on one playthrough shows I haven't unlocked basically the final ones but they popped normal when I finished the game, which is weird since they unlocked like they were supposed to on the EA app and steam. Basically for me, yesterday something changed right after I unlocked always prepared and I don't know what, I assume it was the update that EA_Shepard posted about.

I see, well in that case.
Having updated the EA app to the latest version and launching ME2 and ME3, the in game achievements for both are showing up as fully completed. This is not the case for my Steam achievements. (I used Origin until about halfway through ME2, so anything after that point has no Steam achievements, or indeed achievements in the EA app)
For the record, I haven't tried deleting any profile files and then starting a new file, as 1) I'm somewhat nervous about what that would do. 2) I don't have as much free time as I would like to be able to spend time debugging.
If anyone else (or yourself, Commander 😛 ) can check this out, it'd be great.
Community Manager@Silverdragon98_ There have been steps on this thread that have worked, however, what would have to happen is we would have to send it back to the team to have looked into which can take time because it also deals with Steam. Depending on which issue it was they are handled a bit differently.
We have alerted the team that it is still happening, so we would need everyone to break down the following
Had or earned
Which platform
Which game
Which achievement
When earned if possible
Screenshots showing one or the other
Achievements do get tricky. Ive had save files be corrupted on playthroughs that don't trigger but when starting over on a new save they worked. But you are right. I certainly don't have time to run through them like I used to or debug everything as well.

This screenshot is where I'm at right his moment. This is after taking care of the dreadnought. I never got the dreadnought achievement and I did that yesterday.
The last achievement for me that popped properly was always prepared. I went from the Citadel to Jacobs mission, I'm working on the overload and incinerate achievements, those were tracking during the Jacob mission because I was using Edi, I was at like 70 overload during that mission. When that mission ended I never got the achievement for the Scientific facility which is problem solver. I was at 9/10 for the probes, that stopped counting as well after the scientific mission. I did the Ardat-Yakshi Base after that and also did not get the Achievement for doing so. I'm really frustrated because I was kicking * through the first two games, I have two of the insanity achievements and everything. I actually have every achievement for ME2 so I lucked out on that one since it appears lots of people didn't get the credit for ME2. My problem literally started yesterday. Also when I check the in game achievements for ME3 it shows I've earned them all even though you can clearly see where I am from my screenshot.
The "To Heaven" achievement from ME3 is not working. The progress in the counter does not count, the other achievements work
