Re: ME2 achievements already unlocked?

@Silverdragon98_ There have been steps on this thread that have worked, however, what would have to happen is we would have to send it back to the team to have looked into which can take time because it also deals with Steam. Depending on which issue it was they are handled a bit differently.

We have alerted the team that it is still happening, so we would need everyone to break down the following

Had or earned

Which platform

Which game

Which achievement

When earned if possible

Screenshots showing one or the other

Achievements do get tricky. Ive had save files be corrupted on playthroughs that don't trigger but when starting over on a new save they worked. But you are right. I certainly don't have time to run through them like I used to or debug everything as well.

  • @EA_ShepardWell I can tell you this.

This screenshot is where I'm at right his moment. This is after taking care of the dreadnought. I never got the dreadnought achievement and I did that yesterday.

The last achievement for me that popped properly was always prepared. I went from the Citadel to Jacobs mission, I'm working on the overload and incinerate achievements, those were tracking during the Jacob mission because I was using Edi, I was at like 70 overload during that mission. When that mission ended I never got the achievement for the Scientific facility which is problem solver. I was at 9/10 for the probes, that stopped counting as well after the scientific mission. I did the Ardat-Yakshi Base after that and also did not get the Achievement for doing so. I'm really frustrated because I was kicking * through the first two games, I have two of the insanity achievements and everything. I actually have every achievement for ME2 so I lucked out on that one since it appears lots of people didn't get the credit for ME2. My problem literally started yesterday. Also when I check the in game achievements for ME3 it shows I've earned them all even though you can clearly see where I am from my screenshot.

  • The "To Heaven" achievement from ME3 is not working. The progress in the counter does not count, the other achievements work

  • @EA_Shepard

I just wanna let you know that with the latest EA App Update it actually has prevented EVERY EA game from getting steam achievements
    just some examples

Literally every EA title is broken for steam achievements right now not just Mass effect Legendary

  • Several month old bump on this, but has there been any movement on this, does anybody know?

  • @holger1405

Yes, I can see that. My point is that 'steps' shouldn't be required to have in game achievements unlock.

My EA app has recently updated, but I've no idea if any of those updates have actually solved the issue. Hence the bump on this thread.

Finally, I do not think my expectation of achievements working is unrealistic, nor is the timeframe really quite acceptable. The original post in this thread, is from 2021, almost 3 years ago.

    Hello! Admin. @EA_Shepard

    Please, can you help!
    I will appreciate it!

    Platform: Steam -> Ea App
Game: Mass effect: Legendary Edition -> Mass Effect 1
    Achievement "Lift Mastery"
    Earned a May 14 2024 (15:26)

Lift Mastery don't unlock in the EA APP

  • I have this exact same issue. Lift Mastery is unlocked in the game, but it isn't unlocked on either Steam or the EA App. I've deliberately played to hit 25 uses of lift on multiple playthroughs, and it won't unlock. I'm doing an Insanity run to get my few missing achievements, and this will be the only thing holding me back.

Hi @TiopoX, with actual achievievements, if troubleshooting steps don't work we have to reach out to the team. Right now they are slammed with Dragon Age so ME achievements I can tell you are kind of on the backburner unless they are caught up on everything. I have sent them a message to see if they can check but that would be on them and their time right now.

I found a solution based on the ME2 solution. It's a little tedious and requires you to reaccomplish the achievement parameters, but it works.

    1. Move the GamerProfile.pcsav file out of Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1\PROFILE Keep it somewhere else if you want to restore the rest of the in-game achievements later.

    2, Reboot computer.

    3. Run Mass Effect and ensure all ME1 in-game achievements are grayed out.

    4. Grind the thing that gets the achievement.

    5. Missing achievement hits in Steam and EA App.

    6. Exit game and restore old GamerProfile.pcsav file

    7. Reboot computer.

    All achievements are in alignment.
