Re: ME2 lost achievements, no advanced training available

After the June 7th update, nearly all my console achievements are greyed out. I have played through each game twice now and have nearly all of them.

I've attached 2 screenshots from my game that show this: the Agent and Warp Specialist achievements show they are complete, but the in game icons are greyed out. Xbox One shows I have received them. Warp Specialist was earned after the June 7th update, FYI.

Also, I've been working on the Pyromaniac achievement in ME3 and have made no progress. I've tried inferno grenade and carnage with my character and squad mates, but the counter still sits at zero. This was also true before the June 7th update.

The problem is known and under investigation by the Bioware developer team. One of the moderators will likely merge your topic with the main one, anyway.

The issue may be known but it's INEXCUSABLE since the patch was FORCED down everyone's throats... Said issue is precisely why patches should not be forced onto players until they are rigorously tested for QA purposes. Now scores of players' playthroughs are ruined no thanks to a broken patch being deployed/forced onto players. At the very least players should have the ability to roll back to a previous working version of the game. CD Projekt Red allows for this & other studios like Bethesda/EA should allow the same...

Unfortunately, I think that we can all agree, no fix is coming anytime soon.
Other devs with similar issues after updates have immediately rolled back the patch, but we haven't had any such luck.
Not only that , neither EA or Bioware have released a statement mentioning this game breaking bug and wanting players about it. They are literally continuing as if nothing is wrong.
Unfortunately, ladies and gents, I think we have been robbed and had over here.
I would suggest that you all , like myself, apply for a refund and get the LE when it is fixed and added go EA play. 🙏🏼

@EA_Mako thank you for being communicative and active in the thread. I've been in threads that were 80 pages without a community manager's input, so I appreciate you keeping us up to date. As long as the dev team is aware and the community managers are active in the thread and the people that need to be aware of the issue are aware, I'll hold out for a fix.

Before the last infamous patch there were some workarounds that, at any rate, you could use to unlock Insanity II-III and Paramour II-III correctly. However, this last patch fixed these workarounds and the issue still persists (the achievements are still broken). The update even broke the loyalty system of Mass Effect 2.

My patience is running thin with this bug and with the weekend starting I know we won't see any sort of resolution to this problem for at least a few more days. Typical rushed out sloppy * * patches that * up people's games. But oh boy! No more unintentional red eyes.....
