Re: ME3 Grissom Academy freezes/glitches/crash

I have deleted all I can from my hard drive but it's still way too much. And no I unfortunately did not find a patch or fix in the store. I tried doing a mission and going back to the academy on disk 2 but still didn't work. I have the English/US version. And I've read this similar issue on Italian versions but the freeze is before the cutscene and this problem is before entering the mission after the cutscene so it must be a loading bug.

Does it really matter what version it is though? Aren't they the same but in different languages or in someway different?

It should not, I just try to get as much data as possible to rectify or exclude possible reasons. The most possible workarounds gor already checked, it could be still an issue with the software, with your disk or the console itself. Unfortunately it is hard to tell for us what is causing this problem.

Might sound weird but you could just try to change the language of your console (your audio ingame should be still EN but it might be that you are getting subtitles). If it would work you could just change the language afterwards.

If the disk is causing trouble (because of a scratch as an example), there is not much we can do here and we can only check this if you are able to get a similar disk from somebody. There are some cases where the laser of the console is misaligned and that can cause trouble with some loading intense part of some games but mostly with the old and not the slim version of the console. It might be that the hard rive is corrupted, but I doubt it as if it is a physical damage it would cause problems with other games. 

It can be related to a corrupted savegame file, we could rectify this if you were able to check this out with a different savegame.

How is your console positioned? Is clear airflow garantueed with the way your console is placed on your shelve of other furniture?

I tried changing the language and still didn't work but something I noticed was that there is a problem with the audio or vocals for the level only caused by disk or console. It could be that some of the audio got corrupted as well as loading so most likely disk. But I have two copies of the game (should've told you this earlier) and both don't work which is strange. I do though have the misaligned laser but for some reason it doesn't affect the disk too much because other games work just fine; even if I play the game for hours every day. Another thing to add is that I had any other freezing issue that I posted with the mars mission with the same stuff that's happening now and with help, I got it fixed. Now in this case repeating the thing I did doesn't help... I don't know where I'm going with this but if you can get something from this... Solution or an end.

So corruption is probable so I'm going to get a new one just in case but it doesn't mean to forget about this though; so ya reply at your earliest convenience please.

I almost had the solution, it loaded Shepard talking and the transmission halfway then it bugged out. This was after I was continuing the story and loading back to an earlier save. I was so close so now I know it can be fixed but to know how is a different question..
