You have to scan it:
1. Go to the System
2. Right Click when you are near the planet (Now it should have get marked)
3. Go to the planet and use a probe
It seems you have missed out on the whole Scanning-Gameplay until now.

Thanks for replying to this, riaaltsoni (I’m a huge fan of your relative, Liara).
The information provided here is correct. If for some reason, you are still unable to dispatch a Probe into the correct spot, this might come from corrupt files in the game data.
Please proceed as first advised by riaaltsoni, and if the issue remains, launch our repair tool:
- Log into Origin
- Right-click on Mass Effect 3
- Select “Repair Install”

i have try that in mass effect 3 but for some reason it won't work i have the mission i din't have the artifact it won't let me but when i saw the asset it for some reason 100% ???
