Re: ME:LE :

@Bekojj

Try to repair the game.

(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

Try to clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.

    • Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
    • Delete the "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder inside the "LocalContent" folder.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
    • In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
    • Open the "Local" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the  "Local" folder.
    • Restart your PC. > Log in online for the first time > test offline.

If what holger said does not work i advice all people on PC with problems like bugs, not responding, crash... and other problems is to make a clean windows installation, be sure that the windows has all files clean and no virus or problems with its files and no Antivirus installed, after you install the windows be sure that all drivers are working ok, most important is audio and video drivers, many nvidia driver updates will create problems for you the last version is not all the time the best so cheack all of them and if you heave the right drivers working the right way install origin or steam and the trilogy and play it with not other 3rd party, and i am sure all problems will be solved i am living proof of that, in the past a did heave a lot of problems with games the the cause was my on PC and drivers/programs.

The list i problems i got from Nvidia/AMD drivers were: Games not runing with no error, a lot of crashes,no response, gaming freeze, hight usage CPU/GPU/RAM and fixing the problems with the drivers fixed the games for me as well, i hope my advice helps.

If you use windows 10 it works just as well to go to: Settings, recovery, restart this PC and delete everything.

@holger1405As stated in my original post, i already tried clearing my Origin cache, it didn't change anything

  • *snip*

EDIT by EA_Jason: Using Teamviewer could give another person access to your PC, be very careful when doing so.

Did you also got ride of the "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder in the "LocalContent" folder.

My cache clearing is a bit different than the normal one.

    If that still doesn't work:

    • Make sure Origin and Steam are closed.
    • Go to your "<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame" folder and move the "Config" folder to your Desktop

If you use Steam the file is under: steam apps\common\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame\Config.
