  • @Aegis2k It's only been two months since this title's release, and less than a month since BioWare's been allowed to staff their Edmonton office (where they did the ME:LE development) to full capacity, after more than a year of either not being allowed into their office at all, or being forced to limit their staff to 30% or less of it's normal workforce.

Funny thing is that ALOT: LE was released recently, fixing lots of forgotten textures like low-res lightning in ME1, and more.

So a fan can do a lot more than a company.

Waiting for ALOV, to see real 4K res on videos, not the good old ones sold as new.

@ELevin Because fans love what they are working on rather than a shell of a company, really not looking forward the new ME.

    I do.

I find this argument always funny.
It is like they fixed all the bugs before, but not now.

Ever got stuck in the Normandy Cockpit in ME3, 8 years after release? 😉

Hell, there are still bugs in a fully patched original Baldur's Gate 1, bugs I first saw in 1998.

There is no AAA game without bugs, and there is no AAA game that ever got all bugs and glitches fixed.
Some bugs are deemed minor, some are to risky to fix, and some are to expensive to fix.

That is just how it is.

There are still bugs in the MELE that Bioware should fix, and I hope they do, but in the end this is not different than before.

Cant wait for Mass effect 5 to have no patches at all. Way to screw us all over EA.

    Just an observation.

When a patch is the 'last' patch, BioWare usually say so.

That happened with Andromeda and Anthem, and when MELE has a 'last' patch, my expectation is that it'll be called out as such. 🙂

@Jaysamule Did you know that the voice actor for Major Kirrahe worked for free on a MOD called Priority Earth Overhaul adding lines which are un voiced in the final mission as he was planned to be a temporary squadmate?
@holger1405 I am very glad that you are, I am glad that the game series will find an audience but at one point as costumers we have to say enough:

Not that I'm too sceptical, but I don't wish LE would stop receiving patches in a state last Bioware games were left.

For now I hope Recalibrated mod series would be adapted for LE.

The only thing I really miss is properly working anti-aliasing, but that's probably could be solved too.

@ELevin A word of advise, Nexus modder Okrion admitted that he might quit modding and that he might not make his mods for the LE as he is tired of fixing games for companies for free ah, Bioware didn't got in touch with them despite the fact he worked with one of the VA of Mass Effect 1-3:

  • @draconiamThis is said everything about the Legendary Edition. It's a mixed bag cash grab with the purpose of financing the next Mass Effect (and also to earn some easy money), and nothing more. I waited years for this... disappointment of the year for me.

They wanted to make a big remastered, with very limited time and budget, and it shows: the first game's remastered is not a bad quality work, the other two... the other two is just broken. I do not know if I want a new Mass Effect game from the modern BioWare if they do not fix this mess (plot twist: they will not).

This is the greatest trilogy I ever seen, but publisher just don't care about the proper quality... Electronic "Arts"... ironic.

@Ri-Go_HUN7 If by the looks of rumors and the trailer I will be expecting that Bioware forgets about the High Destroy ending Galaxy rebuilding so they have an excuse to: make Shepard fall in love with Liara as the Ex Cerberus scientists with people like Kahlee Sanders could have helped recover Shepard up to speed if players had Wrex (who we know would not leave Shepard abandoned after everything) and the Rachni Queen looking for Shep (she can establish a connection with dead and/or dying beings so finding survivors who are near death would be a cakewalk).

Bioware will likely paint the Alliance as the big bad who after the Brass constanly wanting to bury all Shepard warnings will likely use his body in stasis to lie to everyone while they look for ways to exploit him/her until hundreds of years later Liara saves him and tells the player that everyone else died either trying to save them or without knowing they could save them.
