@EA_Shepard EA OK I deinstalled everything, cleared all the app cache again, all the temp files, all the Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3 files.. reinstalling the base game only now.. will let you know what happens.
This is the third time reinstalling this week so it's getting frustrating. Also I want to add I NEVER played Mass Effect 3 through EA Play. I even forgot I had EA Play but yeah I did use it for a while, maybe month or two, but only for ME: Andromeda.
As for Mass Effect 3 specifically, I always bought and owned that game and I played multiplayer on it in the past long before and even after that EA subscription so I really dont know why this is happening now.

@Mayamis I totally get it and it is frustrating believe me because it is an easy fix. With the changes that should have been made right off the bat, you should not have to go through all of this which is why with support it should be a 10 min conversation and fixed.
I can fix it but typically when I do, you have to do all this anyways. If it does not work though, I can get it fixed without you having to reinstall it again it just takes longer to do it. Ive been dealing with this error for a long time believe me so I completely understand the irritation of having to do all these steps.

@EA_Shepard All I know is once this gets fixed and my ME3 multiplayer is working again.. I am NEVER getting EA play subscription for anything ever again 🙂 I'd be to scared to go through all of this again...

OK, reinstalled the base game only without any add-ons, same thing. I can start single player story campaign, I always could, that was never the issue.. I did that first and played for few minutes...
but the multiplayer is still inaccessible. still says redeem online pass on the right side of main menu, instead of "contented with servers". still says online pass is needed after I try to click on multiplayer in main menu.
and even if it worked, I wouldn't be able to play multiplayer like this, in order to access all maps and connect to all players you need all those multiplayer DLC's installed.
so what do I do now? do I download the dlc's s well?

@Mayamis I expected that to happen. Sometimes DLCs alone cause the issue and sometimes its the base game. That is all I needed to know. Go ahead and close everything down for me. No need to install anything else just yet!

@Mayamis Okay log back in. Now what i would do first is clear the cache for the EA app, and repair the game. I always do this just in case but you may not have to.

@EA_Shepard I did that and whatever you did on your end worked!!!!!! 🙂 it's finally connected to server and I can open multiplayer!! 🙂
However, I I'm not getting any matches for games and in multiplayer itself I am missing a lot of characters I had unlocked and leveled up.
I assume it's because I don't have the DLC's yet?

@Mayamis That's great. Install the rest of the DLC and play a few matches and let it sync up. We cannot alter data like that so it is still there.

hey @EA_Shepard me again, really hate to be a bother but new problem popped up that didn't happen on previous run of the game when I said everything is fine,
This time when I opened the game in main menu this msg showed up saying From Ashes DLC can't be authorized.
Not sure why it didn't pop up on previous run but it did just now...
The game still connects to servers fine and multiplayer seems to work normally so it's not as big of an issue as before
- Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
- Move the "License" folder to your desktop.
- Test.

@holger1405 already did that before I posted, also cleared the temp cache and EA app cache, and that pop up was still there for some reason...
Interestingly, when I ran the game just now, it's gone on it's own.
So I'm gonna assume after EA_Shepard reactivated my pass, and I reinstalled everything, the game and servers just needed some time to sync up all the content.
Seems to be good now 🙂

@Mayamis Been out for a bit. The weather got all kinds of people feeling a bit bad. Some DLCs don't always sync like it should when activated. The license deletion steps above typically fix it but if they don't, delete the DLC folder inside the install folder for any that say unauthorized.
Your account is good. The game will always check twice for DLC which happens to me every now and then. I repair the game or delete the folder and it typically fixes it!

hey @EA_Shepard I totally understand we're all in hibernation mood..
anyway I didn't really need to do anything the problem solved itself after I rebooted the game eventually so all is good, been playing for days now since I got it back having a blast. thanx for all the advice anyway 🙂
