Re: (PC) Mass Effect Andromeda Digital Deluxe Crashing

It doesn't matter if you have a "brand new machine". Your "Tech Specs" show you're running an Intel HD graphics chip and not a dedicated video card.

If you really do have a separate card, (and the error message indicates you do) I'd guess you're not setting things to use that card exclusively. The Intel integrated GPUs simply can't handle this game.

I've just bought the game, freshly updated my graphic card drivers (GTX 1070), and get CONSTANT crashes too!

And not just the game crashing, oh no, I pray for those, those are good, no sir, I get full blown BSOD crashes, just like Windows ME used to make!

Can barely get to the first dialogue options.

    I either get a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error or a more generic WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

So far the furthest I got was with post processing effects set to low, or with everything set to low.

Still ended up with a blue screened computer but this time I got to see a few seconds of gameplay instead of it crashing in the character customization screen.

Is this how the game looks after almost a year of updates and patches?

    Jesus! 😮

Wonder what mess people who pre-ordered this have got...

Yeah, I forgot to install my GeForce 750 from my previous computer.

It is up and running better, but I still get the crashes after playing about 10 minutes or so.
